The GBC asks its members to display fair play and good sportsmanship. Develop a consistent habit of good sportsmanship and fair play.
Keep the score correctly- state the score after each rally.
Call the lines fairly ( remember it is the lines on your side you are responsible for).
Congratulate your opponent politely if you lose.
Share your expertise if asked.
Acknowledge a strength, good shot, or good rally of your opponent when you win.
Respect the court time allowed for games. Do not walk across another court in use.
Zero tolerance for disruptive behavior - loud, abusive, or profane language.
Zero tolerance for throwing equipment or hitting the shuttle.
Proper sports attire is required.
Only wear non-marking indoor court shoes.
No food is allowed while you are on the court.
